Starlets

Starlets are tiny micro-organisms which glow and live primarily in the Sea of Stars. They commute between the sea's various coral reefs upon the waves, lighting it up at night in bright blue or near-white colors. They are known to be able to glow in other hues, however this is typically regarded as a bad omen of coming storms or other dangers, which are rare among this sea's waters.
Starlets have various names around the world - even in landlocked regions - and they have a widely-varied reputation to cure ailments or boost spirits when consumed.
