The Wyrms Pierce the Bastion

The Red Dragonflight, under the parriarch Kaszastrix, breaks through the mountains surrounding the Althraxian Empire. Conflict immediately erupts, leading to Althraxia's first collapse.

Dragons had long lived throughout the Kcalsbury Continent and preyed upon mortals, though they lacked servants such as the Thalgor which their Pharosian brethren had assimilated.   Despite this, the Savirree Valley was largely untouched by them, and raids by minor dragons were often repelled at the Bastion Peaks or the Far Peaks. Kaszastrix, however, led his drakes to break through, sparking a war between the Althraxian Empire and the wyrms which would lead to the Empire's first fall.
