A series of battles are fought by members of the contemporary Protectorate-Commonwealth, the Althraxian Empire, and potentially factions within the West Marches (sometimes attributed to Baudilay) over the enchanted blade Haldun-Kur.
Haldun-Kur is a relic said to have been crafted by Mahth as a gift for Merak and given to Althraxia's Demagogues, who had now fallen from power. The present-day location of the Haldun-Kur is unknown, but legends say that the kings of Baudilay were successful in securing it before they faded into the annals of history.
