The Vestal-Venfros Affair was a scandal in Aedenhal, a consequence of the occupation of parts of Vestal by King Aeden.

The occupation was not supported by The Ice Queen, who had sent her Jezi to aid the nation in the recent past. As a result, she did not permit her Jezi into the occupied region, and publicly declared they would not fight in any war caussed by the maneuver. Vestal never retaliated, making the threat irrelevant, though this signalled that the Jezi were not a guaranteed part of the Aedenhalian military, a move that chipped away at King Aeden's authority and angered him greatly.
