The Althraxian Empire began to have troubles shortly after its expansion into Sylla and the Savirree River Valley, but these troubles bubble over with the onset of The Dragon Wars and the death of Emperor Petros II without a successor.
Aside from the drake invasion, instability and fractures became the norm in the Savirree Valley, and a constant period of secession and reannexation ensued, further draining Althraxian resources. Shortly after, Sylla declared independence while Althraxia was busy tightening its grip on the Savirree.
