The Birth of the Sisters refers to the annexation of New Nor and Nauten by the Norrish people in the late Age of Enlightenment.
These were the first two colonies the world saw, and they helped to inspire the expansionist trade doctrine of Barisea in The Grand Sea War. Arberia was not aware of the Norrish settlements for many decades. It issued a diplomatic objection and sponsored insurgencies against them when their existence was confirmed, but relations have since normalized due to the trade benefits of the southern holds.
