Dawn Vineyard
Dawn Vineyard is a large grape vineyard sitting outside of Vareholm’s barrier. Despite the lack of obvious security, it seems well maintained and free from creatures within. The smell of grapes wafts over you as you approach the oaken fence around the property and vines bursting with grapes, all ripe for the harvesting. The soil beneath your boots is cool, rich with energy and well-manicured, as though the owner sought to choose the most idyllic and peaceful location to grow produce. The sun beats down calmly over the whole area, hot but not boiling, like a warm summer day as you approach the larger farmhouse sitting atop the hill overlooking the rest of the yard. From there you can see the scarecrows dotted around the fields, and the toughened red wood holding the sturdy looking farmhouse together. The paint has faded with the ravages of time, but overall the building looks healthy, and seems to be otherwise kept in a pristine condition. The rows of bottling-ready grapes line their way down the hill, sectioned off neatly into groups so as to not mix the different ages and types.
