Learning Languages and Tools

To learn a Language or Tool you must generate 260 Crafting Points (CP).
CP generated in this way cannot be exchanged for gold nor can they be generated with gold.
Calligraphy Tools can be used to provide your Proficiency to Downtime Rolls used to learn a Language.
Currently, there is no Proficiency bonus applied to learning new Tools.

Native Dialects

Coming to Idriell, it has been discovered that the natives have their own dialect of languages known to the rest of the world.
If you speak the World version of the language it’s much easier to learn the native dialect. You are assumed to have 200 Crafting Points towards learning that Language, however you need to acquire a resource to start earning Crafting Points to put towards learning the dialect. Usually, a Native Speaker can assist you with learning their dialect.
