Legend Lore: Xillin Xipphulae

“I wish I knew how to bring her here.” “Then let us pen a plan.”
Xillin, in life, was an honorable cleric of El-Ren, and extolled the many virtues of the Moon that was prophecies to deliver salvation to the Oshran empire. Adventurers and Scholars over the many centuries of Xillon's service had determined that a great tear in the sky would be the harbinger of that great event, 'Salvation Day'. Xillin had taken it upon himself to research and devise a method of bringing the Moon God to Idriell, but as the days turned to months, to years, to decades and beyond, Xillin fell into a great depression.   Xillin confided in a close friend in the chantry, Pikyr, lamenting that they did not know how to help El-Ren come to the Material Plane. His fellow smiled, and having accepted their wish, the two plotted together. They would abandon the Weave and all its limitations in search of a more divine power; the Shadow Weave.   Xillin and Pikyr ventured to the Prison of the Gods, to where the long forgotten and withered deity Eshowdow was kept hidden, and offered himself to serve her, at least in name and spirit, to bring about Salvation Day. Eshowdow accepted this trade, under one condition: Xillin find the Leaves of One Night, and return it to her.   Xillin and Pikyr had other plans, and when they found the Leaves of One Night, they fashioned it into a tool to bind and turn Eshowdow to their whim; the Penumbricon.
