The Evergarden
In an underground cave system lies The Evergarden. A lush rich area filled with an incredible amount of life. Found towards to the far eastern side of Easthalen, in an area considered by many to be a wasteland, the Evergarden is a haven for druids and others who worship nature. For many druids, it is a rite of passage to not only discover it exists, but to locate and enter. Those who pass the natural hazards and tests are rewarded with an area that contains samples of life and flora from around the world. The animals that are found here exist peacefully, only killing those they need to survive and the numbers don't appear to drop to dangerous levels, nor do they overrun the place.Geography
A large sprawling cave system found deep underground. Entrances are hidden and hard to get to. There are several large caves linked together, each with its own typical climate, such as desert, forest and so on. By rights, this cave system should not exist naturally and any magic users detect a heavy magical aura of alteration magic, along with divine energy as well.
Fauna & Flora
The fauna of The Evergarden exists to keep the flora active and in check. The nature of the flora, however, is extensive. Every flower that grows or has grown since the Evergarden was created at least one viable version of it can be found here.
Natural Resources
As mentioned before, any type of plant can be found here. Also, any type of plant may be grown here if brought in from the outside. Growth is accelerated with, for example, a seed going from acorn to full-grown oak in a year. Those who have studied the cave system have reported that they believe it to be a combination of divine and arcane forces working together, as a few ley-lines are known to converge in the general area.
The system itself, even though underground, has a day/night cycle, with the ceiling glowing and darkening as the day starts and ends. One particular area, however, is in a permanent day and another in a permanent night.
