Crystal Lake
This massive lake, measuring over 180 miles long at its widest part, received its name from the faeries that first cam upon it. It was created when the Stars fell from the night sky, the largest of those impacting the center of the land creating the massive lake. Crystals formed at the edges of the water shortly after, and the faeries of old named it from that discovery. Scientists denounce the creation of the lake as well as The Drop, stating that any impact of that size would've wiped out all life, yet they can't dispute the findings. Fragments of star rock have been found at the edges over the years and has sparked much debate.
Geography
Crystal lake is fresh water and has been measured as deep as 500 feet in the center. The extent of the lake hasn't been delved, so there could be deeper parts, but those are what has been found so far. The water is so clear as to be able to see the bottom as far as 200 feet from the land, and after that it starts to get darker, obscuring veiw.
