Beryan Callax
Beryan Callax is a human woman and mayor of Varna. Beryan grew up in Varna and served as a guard for a number of years, climbing up the ranks to become a guard captain of the markets, where she was ruthless in enforcing the law and intimidating to any who dared cross her. Eventually, deciding she needed to do more good for the city and take a more proactive approach, she ran for mayor and won her election in 995 YK.
Beryan wears her long auburn hair tied back in a pony tail and has a visible scar running down her left cheek. She wears a green cotton blouse with a leather trenchcoat and a rapier tied to her side.
