Lord Cadman Turi

Lord Cadman Turi is the leader of the small town of Ardev, Breland. The leadership in the town was historically run by the Turi family, as one of the first Turis founded the town so many centuries ago. The fishing trade was always passed from father to son, running generations deep.
Lord Turi was widely regarded as a kind ruler, and kept the town running smooth. He was a mycologist by hobby, though he always put the needs of his town first. He hid a secret, however. Long ago, his ancestor Ewyn made a dark deal with a hag, as he was sick of his trade. In exchange for local children, the hag promised to free him of his trade, as he would have no use for material wealth.
His family line became cursed with dark pendants that prevented them from eating, drinking, and sleeping. The intense weight upon those who bore the pendants was soul-crushing, and very few Turis made it past the age of 40.
After the Crypt Crew learned that it may be possible to break the curse by defeating its origin, Lord Turi admitted that it may also be possible to  the curse by ending his family line, though he felt bound by duty and was afraid to actualy go through with it.
