• The Dragon with the Girl Tattoo was located, and the hidden elevator began to form in the floor of the room. It was not large enough for everyone to fit in, and N'nchyk and Bell were left behind as the elevator sunk into the floor. But just as the elevator began to disappear, the Crypt Crew heard another door open into the room where N'nchyk was.
• Sylvain was put on guard duty, and told Ashpin that everything was okay up above, and soon enough, N'nchyk and his friend joined the rest of the Crew. They found themselves in a din of a factory, with metal catwalks throughout and agents of the Order of the Emerald Claw visible. It was a stuffy and pungent atmosphere; a mix of old food and hot lava.
• Immediately visible to the Crew was a gnome in an emerald cloak, observing a strange green liquid in a cylindrical container. Maleakos deafened him in order to sneak by, but a well-placed arrow by Dooturr completely splintered the gnome's head into bits, splattering the container with his brains and blood.
• Maleakos crept forward, spotting an agent on a bridge that looked over some sort of assembly line that was slowly moving and gaining speed. Maleakos used the magic of his cloak to mimic that of the emerald cloak, and spoke with the individual. Maleakos asked some suspicious questions about the coral tablet, but managed to learn that they had no plans of staying in the factory - they would use it for its purpose, and depart.
• Maleakos briefly left, but returned with a disassembled Dooturr. The agent grew suspicious of Maleakos, and asked him for his call sign, which Maleakos responded to with a loud yell of "Mother!", making quick work of the agent.
• After some clattering, another agent that stood on a platform above called out to check on his ally, to no response. He peeked over the edge, and saw the body of his friend. But, with the use of Charm Person, he managed to gently guide him off the edge.
• Maleakos and Dooturr were not quite careful enough in crossing the bridge, and an agent from across the edge spotted them and shouted to make their presence known. A distant whirring noise was slowly growing louder, and eventually reached a peak, at which point the assembly line began to gain speed. A creature lay on the assembly line, and eventually, a claw reached down the assembly line, and placed the creature on the bridge. It was a zombie configured with metallic plates and enhancements, with natural chitinous plating throughout, and it attacked Maleakos with a feral ferocity.
• Multiple more individuals began to converge on their location, one of which evidently recognized Viribus, delighted that he had infiltrated their ranks, and ordered him to murder his allies. He was less delighted when Viribus refused.
• As a toxic yellow smoke began to descend upon the party and Viribus began to retreat, he shot two Eldritch Blasts at the individual, saying "Major Caracalla sends his regards. You've outlived your usefulness." Unfortunately, both Eldritch Blasts failed to connect, to the roaring laughter of the individual. "Pathetic. As weak as I remember. If only you'd been stronger - strong enough to protect your mother from your father."
