Session 35: A Triumphant Return

General Summary

Boss Baby 2

• Dooturr and Thanos never wavered by the side of their friends' bodies. Dooturr knew it was his best hope, and he never lost faith in their abilities. Thanos, however, lost many games of chess.
• Days passed without circumstance, besides the occasional wail and slurping noise from below. Santiago ended up bursting from his jar, the size of a small rabbit, and began feasting on the diseased corpse of the giant rat the Crew had defeated earlier.
• Eventually, the cloaked individual Lumen and his pet dragon Bellum arrived. He said he was in the region, and was told by Torfe to check up on the Crypt Crew.
• Dooturr explained the (albeit strange) situation they were in, and the three sat and waited some more.
• Meanwhile, the shades of the Crew - hearing the warning and wishes of Surren fade from their senses - returned to their mortal bodies with a surge of golden magic. Philip's skin regained its color, Viribus' emaciated corpse regained its muscle and red shield, N'nchyks intestines were restored...the Crypt Crew was brought back to life. All but one, the soul of Verin destroyed, ascended, or some other unknown fate.
•  After the physical and psychological effects of sudden resurrection wore off, an improved plan was made to tackle the creature below. The limbs were to be destroyed, particular spells were to be cast, and certain members were to fight from specific places.
• Dababy was defeated, due to the perfect execution of all components of the plan, and equal contributions from all members of the party.
• Thanos was slain in the midst of battle, but by a group vote, the single diamond purchased by Philip was used to Revivify him.
• Various loot was looted, and undead minions were raised.

• An immensely ornate clockwork pocketwatch A metal wind chime a traveler carried with him that catch the faint sounds of home no matter how far he went. Distinct voices can be heard but not clearly enough to make out more than mumbled words and laughter.
