Bertio ir'Wynarn

The youngest child of Boranel ir'Wynarn and Chaseva ir'Maasat , Bertio was only five years old when his mother was assassinated. Devastated, Bertio spent most of his childhood clinging to those around him, fearful that they might be next to go. The death of his older brother and sister also hit him hard, and he has since become very unpredictable and moody. While many at court actively avoid Bertio, his older brother Gorion ir'Wynarn has always looked out for him, for better or worse.
Bertio has become something of a running joke among the nobility of Breland in recent years. Desperate to win his distant father’s affection, he has pursued project after impossible project, but they always seem to fail spectacularly for reasons outside his control. Gorion has had to bail Bertio out of numerous financial difficulties, which has provided ample ammunition for the anti-royalist factions in the court.
