Baron Merrix d'Cannith

Merrix is one of three members of Baron Merrix d'Cannith vying for power, following the death of many of the key leaders during The Mourning. Merrix has an impressive resume as an artificer, but at only 42 years old he is the youngest claimant for the role of patriarch. More invested in his experiments than leadership, Merrix only desires to be patriarch because he believes the other two are not capable of leading.
Merrix's speciality is firearms, a modern invention during the war. Though he has little interest in most of the practical uses of his experiments, he enjoys playing soldier when he is not inventing.
