Seraphina Boromar

Seraphina Boromar is a distant cousin to the main Boromar family in Sharn, and is Halak Boromar's aunt. She arrived in Sharn almost forty years ago with her collection of strange weapons, and became an 'instructor' for the family. As an elderly woman without a family, she took to a young Therin and entertained his cultural desire to perfect his martial prowress. Now in the twilight years of her life, Seraphina lives on the grounds of Saidan's mansion and keeps to her clan traditions the best that she can.
As a proud member of the Boromar clan, Seraphina has little use for "city ways". She serves as the connection to the Boromar Clan in Talenta Plains, and has helped the family secret away halflings back to the clan until the heat dies down. The family expects her to pass soon, and has brought Halak on to start the process of replacing her. She knows this is the case, and is resentful of being treated like a part in the machine.

In Our Story:

Seraphina is a mentor to Therin Aloro, and is possibly the most accepting member of the family to the abandoned elf. She is a battlemaster fighter in her own right, and taught him the skills that he now employs. She even taught him the use of the double-bladed scimitar, though she has never fully explained her knowledge in the ancient arts employed by the Valenar.

Uses:

Seraphina has a vast knowledge of the Talenta Plains and Valenar, and could provide introductions to select NPCs in either region. She also has an interesting relationship with both House Jorasco and House Ghallanda that hasn't been explained.

Interactions with other NPCs:

The old woman lives on the grounds of the Boromar Mansion in Hareth's Folly, and is intimately acquainted with Saidan Boromar, Mala Boromar d’Jorasco, Castar Piddlewinks, and Halak Boromar. Seraphina also trained both Gorric Bowleg and Rikkon Teakettle.
She keeps a Clawfoot named Muq'lab (Valenar for "fang") on the grounds. When she is not training the Boromar Crime Family's guards and muscle she can be found in her cottage on the estate training with her weapons. She is also known to travel to the Talenta Plains once a year to meet with the clan during the summer solstice.
