Night Tooth Kin

The Night Tooth Kin are a tribe of feral fairy folk that have settled in the shipwreck lost deep in The Nightwood.
The Night Tooth Kin hunt and protect their area. They left the feywild (through one of the many portals that opens from time to time in the Nightwood) and settled here where they can make their own rules, far from the Autumn Queen, whose service they fled about ten years ago.
The Kin are led by Thicket Darkbreath. Thicket and the Kin have contact with some of the other major power players in the Nightwood and beyond. A band of smugglers calling themselves the Badgers uses the shipwreck as a storage place for stolen and illicit goods, paying tribute to the Kin to hide and protect it.
They also have a relationship with the Hiath Phela, an order of inspired who are active in the Nightwood.
The Kin are mostly interested in tribute, of many kinds, but are especially fond of food, drink, and teeth. They take teeth from their kills, awarding one tooth to the hunter who killed the victim, and the rest are used as currency by the tribe. Over the ten years they have lived in this part of the nightwood they have amassed what is to them a fortune in teeth.
Each member of the Night Tooth Kin proudly wears a pair of pliers in a belt sheath which they use to remove teeth from victims whenever they get a chance. They play a dice bluffing game called "Bite me" that is responsible for a flow of teeth among the members of the tribe. They try to get outsiders to play with them, and will try to win the outsider's teeth. 
Experienced hunters in the tribe are called Fangs. Thicket is called Grand Molar. And Cinder Briarflight is the tribe's Wisdom Tooth, or most venerable Shaman.
