Session 19: ROAD TRIIIP!!!
General Summary
The party leaves Moonwatch in Edhellen with Simon Twoorb and Tarryn Rowntree. They make their way from Moonwatch to Ardev with little to no excitement, aside from the following:
Ripper has placed his four summons on the top of the wagon, where they will appear to stand guard.
Celosia summons two towers each evening. One is a two-story tower that holds the wagon, the other is a three-story tower holding a variety of different room types depending on the evening.
Simon Twoorb is getting increasingly worried about this trip. He fears for his safety, and that his faith in the monstrous races is misplaced. Toox worked to keep him calm and confident, going so far as to spend an evening talking with a group of gnolls. She confirmed they were not mindless savages, proving the Professor right. On the contrary they went so far as to walk her safely back to her side of town.
Unfortunately for Toox, she later picked the wrong pocket. Frances Bryant, a Circlet of Blasting was taken from her by the powerful mage she attempted to steal a bag of coins from. Toox attempted to follow the mage, but lost her in the crowd.
Tarryn Rowntree and Ripper shared theories on the cause of the Day of Mourning. Taryn believes it was caused by House Cannith experimenting on something underground near his home. Ripper believes it was a weapon of some kind, which dovetails well enough.
The party had an interaction with The Citadel while in their tower one evening. The soldiers made basic inquiries as to their comings and goings, and asked them to be on the lookout for Feldspar Merrlin. There is a 250gp bounty on his head.
The party arrives at the town of Ardev on day 7 of their journey around 10am.
