The Second Task

"Guardian, we found our first historical discrepancy." The acolyte bowed his head and quivered as if bracing himself for punishment. Hethress nodded in satisfaction. Good, this one knows his place. "Well, out with it then," Hethress rumbled once it was clear he would not be continuing on his own.
"Um, yes. In the book The Rise and Fall of the Empire of Dhakaan we found references to a doomsday cult that was not chronicled in the original. It was known as "Rasat'Doovol" and they believed that two prophets known as Felryn and Belaluur  predicted the Daelkyr invasion of Khorvaire and subsequent destruction of the Empire. The cult tried to warn the leaders of the Empire but they refused to listen." He laid a scroll on her desk. "This has the exact changes for you to review."
Hethress narrowed her eyes and the acolyte reflexively took a step back. "Good work acolyte, make sure work continues to find any other changes. And send word to Kriv in Khorvaire Intelligence that I need to speak to him."

The portal on Hethress' wall showed Kriv's harsh features looking annoyed. "Time Guardian, to what do I owe the pleasure?" Straight to business as always. Cooperation between divisions was notoriously tense.
Hethress bared her teeth in her best 'polite but I don't like you' smile. "Kriv, thank you for getting back to me quickly. We need information on two individuals we suspect are in Khorvaire. Their names are Felryn and Belaluur."
Kriv's scowl deepened when he realized Hethress wasn't providing additional information. "Two names and zero context. How typical Hethress. I assume you won't tell me what this is about?"
"Are you implying that you can't get the job done without me holding your hand Kriv?" She laughed when the portal connect abruptly ended. Excellent, with that out of the way I can get back to The Prophecy. With a head start I will be the first to know how the history alteration affects it.
