The Red Spiders are generally considered the highest grossing Recognized Mercenary Company in Khorvaire. Various countries have hired the Red Spiders throughout their existance. Recently, they have been declared outlaws by Karrnath, Breland, Cyre, and Aundair due to their involvement with the death of Princess Rosalyn Tenebris ir'Wynarn, the aunt of the King of Karrnath.
The Red Spiders were formed in 980 YK after Shoorio asked Elm if he wanted to form a mercenary company.

The Kingdom of Karrnath seized all of the Red Spider's property within its borders (5,000G). In total, the Red Spiders lost 137,000G as a result of the Mourning.
