While this is a significant event for this system, it is not used as the turning point for a new age - that honour goes to the first contact between Dunamis and other worlds, which happened approximately 10 years later.

Here, the Dunami people make first contact with the Khorani, a race of humanoids that had evolved on the moon. This momentous occasion is celebrated as the start of the Cardean Age

The War of Stellar Independence
Military: War63 - The Dunamic Republic's reaches to the outer rim of planets within their system who had previously been hidden by a gas field. Upon first contact, the local peoples acted with aggression, taking over the Spelljammer and reverse engineering the technology for themselves. 65 - Diplomatic actions between the Republic and the Confederacy failed, leading to an all-out war. 69 - The war ended with a ceasefire. It would be decades before relations were calm enough to allow the Republic to enter Confederate space and exit the system through the Astral Veil.

The Dunamic Republic joins the Federation of Affiliated Planets
Diplomatic actionThe Dunamic Republic makes first contact with a species from outside the boundaries of Echospace. This starts a two-year journey of diplomatic talks between the republic and the Federation of Affiliated Systems, eventually leading to the Republic joining the Federation.
