Erato

Erato- Erato is widely acclaimed as the most airy and beautiful of the Lunar cities. The heart of the city is a vast cavern originally excavated before the Fall. Known as the Great Cavern of Erato, or more commonly as the Great Cavern, it is the largest open space beneath Luna—stretching 1.5 kilometers high and slightly more than 2 kilometers across.

Geography

The central Great Cavern is 1.5km high and 2km across cavern in the lunar crust. Across the caverns, elegant towers pierce high into the skies up to a staggering 400 storeys. The air is, criss-crossed by raised walkways, roads and monorail systems. The ground of the GC is based on Chinese vegetation, with large bomboo groves and forest, with mountainous vegetation growing at the edges and sides of the cavern. Home to the most beautiful wildflowers in the Solar System, as well as genetically modified birds and pandas who frolic across the parkland.
One large central cavern. 5 smaller offshoot caverns branch from this, along with countless smaller tunnels. Each tunnel is 7m high and 14m wide, other buildings are largely facades carved into the rock.
