Dallas

A territory steeped in variety and magic, right next to Alicein, Dallas is the Arcane Hub of Boncly, filled to the brim with new experiences and interesting discoveries.

Demographics

Dallas is one of the more varied cities in Boncly, outside of the capital of Ranger. This is mostly due to The Dallas Magical Academy and it's other educational institutions, something which has only recently accepted students from other countries in an effort to foster better connections. But, as like many places in Boncly, it is still primarily Human, with Half-Elves taking the second majority.

Government

Dallas has much more of a Senate-like structure, due to the variety and outreach programs involved with the city requiring more finesse and cultural mixing than other places in Boncly. However, Mayor Yolanda Felix, Four years into her 2nd term as Mayor, seems to have set up the necessary systems with grace, and makes sure that each group is represented to the best of their abilities.

Defences

Dallas does have a stone wall around it's city for defensive purposes, but due to being the Arcane center of Boncly, it has much more Arcane Wards in place.

Industry & Trade

Dallas' biggest industry is education and Arcane Study, but due to the nature of mages, many of the items created by Artificers, Alchemists, Conjurer's, Transmuters and the like go a long way to make the town prosperous.

Infrastructure

Dallas is mostly powered by Arcane Power, although some parts of the territory are fueled by Windmill energy like many other territories along the western side of Boncly.

Assets

Along with Arcane Education, Dallas is also home to Arcane Combat Training for citizens as well as the Firespreaders.

Guilds and Factions

Along with various Arcanist Guilds and the groups of the colleges themselves, the Mercenary Guild Void Sister also makes it's home in Dallas, with it's Guildmaster being an alumni of the college.

History

Dallas was originally an avoided part of Boncly, as many rumors and fairy tales had been formed around the area that had proven itself harsh to newcomers. But, once people began to rationalize the power behind Leylines, they found a way to stabilize some of the wilder barriers around the area, realizing how bountiful the land was for Arcanism, which became it's main draw.

Architecture

Dallas uses bright stones and wood to build most of it's buildings, giving the area a positive and cheery outlook for the newcomers to the area. Alongside that, those who travel to the city and decide to take up residency are free to bring their ideas of architecture, making certain areas varied in its appearance.

Geography

Dallas is a widely varied territory, with grassy plains, a wide river, rolling hills, and steep mountains equally. With that, many resources can be found in the territory and many oppritunities can be found.

Natural Resources

While there is no small amount of agriculture to be found in Dallas, the main resource of the territory is the arcane crystals in the mountains to the east of the territory.
