East Izanagi ~イザナギ東部~
The capital of Kaguya's eastern half, Izanagi was once a whole city, connected by a vast and immaculate bridge, but after the Kaguyan Civil War, the two halves live as the seperate capitals of their nations. Eastern Kaguya's focus on interacting and expanding with the outside world, embracing modernity in the face of tradition, has made East Izanagi a large and bustling city with as many businesses as people, with new developments coming daily.
Demographics
Most of East Izanagi's population is made of Half-Elves and Tieflings, as is common in Kaguya as a whole. But East Izanagi also has a wide amount of other races, especially beast races from the almost-neighbor of Alicein, and a good population of Dwarves from Agartha as well.
Government
East Izanagi is overseen directly by Empress Hanabira, who does have a council of Magistrate, also known as Tensei [天声] for the different sectors of the city.
Defences
East Izanagi has a tall wall around the main city, but it's also shielded by the neighboring mountain range, as well as the many Tennoha [天の刃] who keep the city safe inside and out.
Industry & Trade
East Izanagi is an Omni-Market city due to sheer density, so one can find just about anything. The most popular items to sell in the city, however, is Fireworks and Meat.
Infrastructure
As the biggest city in East Kaguya, Izanagi has the most comprehensive infrastructure, with plumbing, gas lighting, and some arcane powered heating and cooling systems, along with a simple trolley among the main street of commerce.
Architecture
Most of the architecture in Kaguya as a whole consists of wide arches and circular shapes, with the distinct red wood and clay found in the country. East Izanagi, being more modern than other places, has some more variety with its structures, but keeps the general aesthetic and shape.
