Farshno
An anti-slavery democracy currently at war with Hapina over failing to control illegal underground activities that spilled over its borders, many citizens see this as a war against slavery. The many law driven citizens and warriors of this land flock by the day to sign up in the army to fight for freedom.
History
Farshno was originally one of the Gylanese colonies built in the mid 700s. It declared itself a nation in 1048, the year after Gylanese fell, and quickly outlawed slavery and model itself into a nation of the people. Farshno has built up trading relations with Otakai over the past two centuries.
During the Division War of Mel, some of the anti-slavery citizens contacted Farshno in a request for help in 1146, Farshno agreed and the war ended two years later. Ever since then Farshno was kept a close watch on Mel and Hapina, hoping to end the slave trade. Towards this goal, Farshno has also tried several times to convince Hapina that is should end its slave trade economy. As time has gone on, Farshno has became more and more determined to end the slave trade. Then, in the late fall of 1223, the Slavery War between Farshno and Hapina broke out. This began with the dismantling of the Blood Guard, the biggest underground organization in black market goods and slaves, smaller groups rushed to fill the void causing crime to rise. Farshno demanded that Hapina put an end to this uprise in crime. Hapina refused and Farshno’s people declared war on Hapina.
