Demon

Demons, also referred to as oogra, are the main inhabitants of the Faerii Place. They were created by Tiilaer during the Era of Dawn to serve as his armies. The creation of demons resulted in the banishment of Tiilaer to the Faerii Place.

Origin

During the Era of Dawn, Tiilaer created the demons through the warping and twisting of the corpses of dead dwarves. He created them as soldiers for his armies and as a counterpart to the godkin created by the other gods. He also created demons out of seven, powerful, dwarven kings. They became the 7 Devils and are the highest ranked and most powerful of the demons, each given their own palace within the Faerii Place.

Description

Demons are an almost beast-like race. They support many animal features such as their massive horns, hooves on their feet, and scaly, reptilian skin. Their skin is usually blood red, but it can vary some. They are also monstrously huge, standing around ten feet tall and being very heavily built. Due to the nature of demons being formed from the corpses of dead dwarves, they have the strengths and weaknesses possessed by undead creatures, including almost unlimited stamina and an aversion to silver.

Religion

Main Article: Undead Pantheon The demons follow the Undead Pantheon. The Undead Pantheon worships Tiilaer as the Antigod along with the 7 Devils and the Reaper. The Undead Pantheon recognizes the existence of the other gods, but views them as evil and does not worship them. The Undead Pantheon prioritizes anarchy and chaos over order and that can be seen within the societies and culture of the demons.
