Overview:
Eilyene's Eye is a large monastery fort that was established on the south eastern edge of the ancient Brambledeep Forest. The monestary is mainly a massive holy fortification for the goddess Eilyene, "The Lightbringer". The fortress is a newly build fortification within the barony of Graystone. The church and military of Gothmyr use this keep as a forward operating base for excursions into the Brambledeep and beyond. Made up of a main fortress, several sturdy towers as well as outlying stables, shops and homes. The building sits on a large outcropping of hard stone and rock just outside the path into the Brambledeep that leads to the cursed town of Ravenshold. The monastery is used as a shield against the evil that trickles out from Ravenshold, protecting the Countryside. Leadership:
Anatronova Peltreski The current commander of the monastery is the acting high priestess of this church of Eilyene. Dame Antronova Peltreski is the head Cleric and paladin of Eilyene. Blonde of hair and green of eyes. 6ft 2in in height. 25 years of age at about 180 lbs. Adorned in yellows and reds with blood red trim. Weapon of choice is morning star with accompanying body (tower) shield, with Eilynne emblazoned on shield. Along with her sister and partner, Lillian Stoutheart, another paladin in service to the church of Eilyene.
People:
No one lives at the temple who isn't directly working for the temple. There is no town, no farmers or even established shops. The smith and his helpers work for the church and temple. The guards work for the temple, the Water gatherers or leatherworker all are here under command of their church. All within answer to Anna or the higher temple clerics. Any military units sent from King's Watch to the temple are sent knowing they work for the church while stationed at the temple.
