Dark Master

The title of Dark Master is not something that is earned, but one that is taken. For only when one has amassed enough personal power to challenge the current Dark Master will A'Goria grant them the opportunity to do so. Often resulting in a devastating showdown between the two individuals, only one will survive to find themselves to either continue to hold the goddesses blessing or find themselves the new and horrifying owner of them.

With this title come many gifts and much knowledge, most of which would turn the stomach of a normal commoner, but to the faithful of A'Goria, it is seen as the greatest honour. They are responsible for conducting rites and rituals that honour the goddess, and for guiding the faithful in their understanding of the importance of death and destruction in ones climb to achieve greatness.

Some believe that the Dark Master is actually the embodiment of  A'Goria on the mortal plane, hence why there is never more than one with the title and why even when leading the great rituals of worship for the goddess, they never reveal their face. Though many believe this to be nothing but hearsay and rumour, enough talk on the subject exists that it never truly dies, giving a constant air of mystery to the title.
