Kingdom of Dale

Rich, grassy plains flow across the Kingdom of Dale with lush forests and pristine glassy lakes dotting the country side. Small farming communities take advantage of the rich earth to farm great tracts of land with both fields of grain as well as livestock that both grow well in the excellent conditions. The countryside is rich with wild game, leading to good hunting grounds for both small communities as well as those that seek the solitude that only the wilds can bring.

Bordering Handavia to the north, tall mountains guard the north of the country against the cold, tundra winds. Other mountain ranges also spread across the country, often with small communities that mine the roots of the mountains that are abundantly found when one knows the signs to look for. The mountain ranges also provide perfect homes for large predators such as Dragons and Giant Eagles, which the later is often trained for easy manuevering across the expansive countryside.

On the western and southern edges of the land rests the ocean, with small fishing communities also being established where the terrain is ripe. Though the land is connected by a great stretch of plains where the Kingdom shares a border with Brixton. Though the two countries share a stable peace, the people of Brixton have always coveted the rich lands to their north. The two cultures though very similar on many levels, do have a fundamental difference which came to a head in the Battle of Hadersfield. The town now stands as both a large trading town between the two nations as well as a permanent reminder to the great carnage that once tore the two kingdoms apart.

To the East lies the border of Vandaria, with whom the Kingdom of Dale shares a peaceful and prosperous relationship. Though the two countries differ on many issues ranging from the use of slaves to the amount of sway that the holy orders have over the decision making of the country. Even with these core challenges, the two countries share a roaring trade economy, with the vast amount of natural resources that the Kingdom of Dale has at it's disposal and the deep pockets that comes from being the primary builder of Air-ships in Kandalas.
