The night in which the Silver Legion led a coup to take over Brixton. It was a coordinated attack on the demoncraft-using aristocracy of Brixton, led by the Silver Legion under the command of Julius Hart.
The Night of Cleansing began with the simultaneous assassinations of the majority of the noble class, carried out by the Silver Legion's elite assassination squads. At the same time, the Silver Legion's main forces launched an attack on the fortified residences of the remaining aristocrats, using their superior training and weaponry to overcome the aristocrats' demoncraft-enhanced defenses.
As the Silver Legion's forces fought their way through the streets of Brixton, they were joined by local militias and factions who had long chafed under the oppression of the aristocracy. By the end of the night, the Silver Legion had successfully taken control of the city, and the surviving members of the aristocracy had either fled or been captured and executed.
The Night of Cleansing was seen by many as a turning point in the region, with the formerly corrupt and oppressive aristocracy replaced by a new government led by the Silver Legion, which promised to uphold the rule of law and the principles of justice and fairness. However, the coup was not without controversy, with some accusing the Silver Legion of using excessive force and acting without proper authority.
