On the Eastern side of Lux, the isle of Dihza, and the Luxian Crystal Flows live a particularly reclusive race of Kobolds. Occasionally they can be found in Phev and the surrounding lands or at sea. This races growth was hampered significantly during the 3rd epoch when oceanic travel was impossible and very dangerous over short distances.

Biological Traits

The Crystal Kobolds have evolved and adapted to the hard lands they live on better than any of the other races. As Crystal Kobolds mature they often grow small crystalline protrusions on their scales, primarily on their back, arms, and back of the hands. This can be a boon as the unique nature of the crystals of the area will often give the creature a boon to thier arcane talents.

History

Kobolds are often servants of Dragons and the Crystal Kobolds are no exception. If one digs deep enough in the lore of dragons legend has it that what is called Lux and Dihza were given to the Crystalline Dragons, Draconic lore calls the islands the Tears of the Mother. The Crystal Kobolds worship Dhajun, God of Dragons and clutches are often found in service of Dragons.
