Garden Of Souls

The Garden of Souls is the realm of Ziztarr, God of death and Aradhel, Lady of Death. The Garden is tied to Ziztarr and much like the homes of the other gods his home and part of him are all the same. Since The Accords Ziztarr is bound to this place even further than before. This is a realm of beautiful gardens, rivers, and streams where all souls can wander peacefully. It is not uncommon for a soul to wander the gardens for a time before they are ready, taking time to find peace with what has transpired and the life they led.

The Ivory River Palace

In the center is an ivory palace surrounded by water where all the rivers originate. These rivers end in the planes of the other gods, the only way to travel freely to other planes. The shores of the island are filled with small docks for the ferries and the island is home to emissaries of all the gods. These rivers that move throughout carry small boats or ferries operated by emissaries of the other gods. These ferries carry the souls on their final journey to their afterlife.

Fires of Ziztarr

The Garden's other feature is its ivory lampposts lit with the Fires of Ziztarr. The lamposts are all throughout the garden and where a soul of the dead appears in a flicker of the lamp light. These lamps are tended by Tewzhan Dhelweard, Soul Collector.
