"I had the honor of being invited to the Ivory Demon Rite once, it was a night of firsts. I've never seen a bear that big, I've never served that much ale, and I've never had a resurrection as the evening entertainment. I'd go again but I'm glad I know what to expect."

The
Clan Ivory Hare has little need of titles outside of the Clan Father and his direct descendants and general. There is a special elite group of soldiers that guard the
Sinronto Peaks that are the barrier between clan lands and the rest of Mitari. These individuals are given the title
Ivory Demon one of the highest honors in the clan.
Honor
When one of the Clan Father's generals has proven themselves in battle and dedication to the clan again and again the clan father may bestow him the honor of Demon Hunter. This honor gives them the permission to hunt a
Sinronto Bear that has embraced the Demons. When one of the Demon Bears is spotted all the generals with the title are alerted and any who wish to hunt are given leave to do so.
Hunt
Demon Hunters work alone even if there is more than one hunter. There is only one prize. Sinronto Bears that have embraced the Demons, grow larger, stronger, faster, and occasionally exhibit other demonic attributes. They thirst for blood and will not stop until they are killed. When victorious the body is transported to Whitecap and a feast is held.
Feast and Rite
When the Hunt is successful a feast is held in honor of the victorious hunter and the bear is cooked. The celebration around the Hunter and their kill go on until the bear is thoroughly cooked. While waiting the Hunter meditates and prepares himself for the rite as well as saying goodbye to family and friends. When prepared the hunter will harvest the liver of the beast and eat it raw. The liver at that point will contain all the demonic essence of the bear, the preparation process driving it all into the single organ. The consumption of the organ will kill the hunter. At this point the gathered will go into ceremonial mourning and pray to
Retick God of the Dwarves, Smithing to return their champion.
If the Rite is successful and blessed the Hunter will return as one of the Ivory Demons. With the command of the Clan Father they will go into the mountains with their brethren and guard the border.
