Warp Schism

A Warp Schism is a fissure in the ground that has opened in the shifting geography of the Desolation. They are difficult to find and predict even for skilled Osman shamans. These fissures can open suddenly and disappear just as suddenly, however they are known to reveal remanents from before the Desolation. This makes them the target of Desolation Delvers or the occasional opportunity of the caravans. The relics and items found deep inside are very valuable to collectors but what the Delvers are really looking for is the blood of the divine, Celestial Essence. Many Delvers have met their end searching Warp Schisms for Celestial Essence, swallowed and never found.
