A thousand-year-old archmage of unparalleled might and renown who rose from a humble village robe maker to the deadliest duelist and now to an archmage the true capabilities of which are unknown to even the most well informed of Far Reach's forces.
The old mage in plain crimson robes is a figure that inspires both dread and awe in most living creatures on Far Reach and though he has proven time after time to be a great ruler, a shrewd politician and a formidable general there is always the dark rumor and speculations that cast a shadow over his reputation. And his age doubles anything that should be possible for a High Elf such as him eternally feeding the fires of unscrupulous rumors.

Huron is withered, not as much as other archmages, but still quite gaunt: spending 16 hours a day in a study don't promote a healthy body build.

Huron is famous for large scale sealing spells, to the nature of which only he is privy.

A clear identifying feature of Huron are his red robes more often than not plain tied over by a brown belt with small pouches the depth of which is larger than one may perceive from the outside.

Although obtaining no fruitful formal arcane education Huron was a capable self-learner and surprisingly efficient experimented largely teaching himself most of what he presently knows.
The only faculty Huron attended was the tower of High Sorcery in Phurg albeit unsuccessfully as he possessed no sorcerous talent.

Employment

Before embarking on a career of magic and the arcane Huron was a robe maker. After that, he began his own experimentations with the arcane creating the first spellbook on Far Reach in millennia.
Any further occupation can be described as a plane-shifter and ultimately a politician and a peacemaker.

Was the most renowned magic duellist on Far Reach and later across planes.

Intellectual Characteristics

Huron is likely the most intelligent creature on Far Reach except for the Caliginous Nightmare. Devious and conniving he has managed to defeat opponents possessing greater raw power. Huron's significant drawback is that he is highly skeptical and cynical trusting no one and to that effect having no close friends or dependable allies, just minions and servants bound to him by pacts or out of fear and respect.

Morality & Philosophy

Huron believes in minimal involvement into the affairs of the general populace or at least he claims so; his actions state that he simply does not care or deem minor tragedies important enough or worth his time and prefers to focus on greater threats in large following the philosophy of the greater good. Sometimes that brings him to extreme lengths such as easily sacrificing cities for what he perceived to be the greater benefit.
