Bladesage
"The worst feeling is the world is knowing something to be true, but not being able to prove it."The Bladesage order's mandate is: To protect Eirath and its people, be the eyes and ears of Súdnóst, the God of Judgement, and in the absence of a civilized court be the judge of criminal and civil disputes. All the nations and kingdoms of Eirath recognize a Bladesage's sovereignty in judicial matters and very few instances have occurred where a dispute between a Bladesage's judgement and a political entity have occurred. The Bladesage order is small. At no time can their be more than 108 Bladesages. As a general rule one Bladesage is assigned to a Nation or Kingdom by the order, a small handful remain at the Bystrost Academy to help with training recruits and to provide security to the academy. Any Bladesgae not assigned to a post is given the mandate to roam Eirath and to bring peace, protection and judgement to those who need it. Bladesage's are a welcome sight in any place that welcomes law and order. They are in most cases treated as any important dignitary would be treated, with reverence.
Qualifications
In order to become a Bladesage one must first attend the Bystrost Academy. The training takes at least 2 years and involves religious physical training and intellectual studies. A Bladesage is expected to be able to fight, investigate, lead others and render sound judgments and their ability to do so is tested before the title and position is conferred.
Requirements
Any potential Bladesage must be physically capable to wear armor and wield a bladed weapon. In addition they must have the ability to problem solve and make informed decisions. Lastly, but most importantly they must show that they are unbiased and neutral in decision making and judgments.

Duties
The primary duty of a Bladesage is to protect the peoples of Eirath. As a part of this a Bladesage is trained to lead military forces, formulate battle plans, fight, investigate, render sound judgments in criminal and/or civil matters in the absence of a court.
Benefits
The process of becoming a Bladesage bonds them to a Spark of Divinity. This Divine energy results in a Bladesage becoming physically and mentally stronger as well as delay the effects of aging. A Bladesage tends to live twice as long as a normal member of their race. In addition people will willingly help a Bladesage complete their goals if it will not put them in danger, due to the influence a Bladesage has.
Accoutrements & Equipment
All Bladesages are issued clothes, and armor that signify the position. They are also issued a bladed weapon of their choice that is bonded to them.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Any Bladesage that violates their oaths is brought before a judicial panel consisting of 5 Bladgesages who will hear the charges and render judgement. If the offending Bladesage is found guilty; they are stripped of their position, rank and title, labeled Oath-Breaker, and a mark is placed on their forehead.
