King's Undeath

If bitten by an undead with King's Undeath, the bitten soul must make a Con Save (DC 25) to avoid becoming infected.

King's Undeath can be treated by medicines costing 250 gold a week, treatment takes at least 4 weeks. Each week a medicine check is made (DC 15) once a total of 4 checks are successful the patient is cured. Each week King's Undeath is either untreated, or the treatment fails the infected person must make an immediate death save adding their proficiency, on a failed save the infected person dies. On a successful save they still live, but the disease takes a stronger hold on them. An infected person can survive a number of weeks in this manner equal to their Constitution Modifier times two (Minimum of 1, which means two weeks). After that if they are not cured they die.

Characters that die from King's Undeath, will rise as an infected zombie in 3-12 hours (1d10 + 2).
