The Treaty of Exalos

When the Divine Struggle ended in 1351 D.E. most of the world was economically devastated. Even the greatest of the Kingdoms and Nations were nearly broke and worldwide famine threatened to wipe out all life. With the extraplanar forces of the Apostate Gods returning to their home dimensions the armies of the 12 True Gods were able to locate and capture the remaining mundane forces that still followed the Apostate Gods.

Beaten and without armies or followers the Apostate Gods were forced to submit to the demands of the 12 True Gods, these demands were laid out in the The Treaty of Exalos. The articles of the treaty indicated that each of the Apostate Gods was to be stripped of their Godhead and was banished to Τάρταρος where they would be forever held. Demons and Devils would no longer have access to any part of Eirath graced or protected by one of the 12 True Gods. The Betrayer Wizards would be hunted down and justice be served upon them. Finally, the Wizard known as Malvo would be bound in Exalos never again to be released.

The Articles of the Treaty of Acenase were carved into stone. Each of the 12 True Gods signed the stone with their mark. Each of the Apostate Gods made their marks as well the representatives of the Demons and Devils. Once all the groups had signed, the magic that enforced the Treaty was sealed with mortal blood from each of the rulers of the loyal Kingdoms and Nations.

Once the treaty was sealed with mortal blood, the True Gods left Eirath to go to Acenase and the Apostate Gods were imprisoned, their fates unknown.
