Clerical Order of Gonvarg

The Clerical Order of Gonvarg is a Meydran order with members all over Ekaia and its headquarters in the Vundkragi city of Xam. As with many Meydran orders, members join as acolytes and may choose to train to be priests and later, perhaps, clerics. The leader of the order is the chief archcleric, known as the Smiður.
The order is devoted to the pursuit of holiness by means of craftsmanship, most prominently with metal. They see such artisanry as not only a way to be useful to their clans by supplying them with items with which to defend themselves, but also as a spiritual practice, by tackling hard and intractable material and bending it to suit their needs and the needs of their clansmen.
Dwarves comprise the majority of the order, but Gonvarg has priests and devotees of all races.
