Evendur
Evendur is the name given to the Supreme Being of Ekaia, the Creator of All, the World Weaver. He created the Meydra first; hence they are often called Evendur's firstborn. And based on the ideals which he hoped they would personify, he wove together a world from the strands of himself which floated around him in oblivion. He crafted the humanoids in particular with grand purpose in mind, hoping they and the Meydra could work together to create the future he imagined.
He woke up the gods with the Song of the Beginning, which marked the start of the Age of the Meydra. He then withdrew, from then intervening only on a case-by-case basis, sometimes offering comfort or warnings, but above all allowing freedom of choice.
Evendur is worshiped by the vast majority of Ekaia as a result of the directness and evidence of his existence through the Meydra. Historically he has made it clear that the Meydra themselves are not to be worshiped, but their examples, for both good and ill, are to be regarded, and in many cases followed. Temples to good-aligned Meydra always contain, at their heart, shrines to Evendur as well.
He resides in a place outside the Outer Planes known simply as the Beyond but is, at the same time, omnipresent, as all of creation is merely an extension of him and naturally yearns to return to him.
