Lillastam
Lillastam was a powerful Talazichian kingdom in the Era of Cloud. Today it is remembered for its rivalry with Jeltir, as well as several notable families responsible for its many military campaigns.
History
Lillastam existed for much of the Era of Cloud, with evidence suggesting its founding to have been as early as EC 600, and with certainty no later than EC 1000. It was a small patch of land in ancient Beleryn for over a thousand years, during which it was home to multiple notable and powerful families. It began to expand rapidly to the east in the 1300s, and in 1680, it declared war on Jeltir. The war was fought for over a century, and is notable for Jeltir's ability to hold its own against overwhelming odds for several human generations. In the end, Jeltir was victorious, and took control of much of Lillastam's land. The ruling family of Lillastam was, for the rest of the kingdom's existence, determined to seize Jeltir, and specifically the holy land of Mejddimlad. Though the wealthy and powerful citizens of Lillastam remained, almost no one else did, eventually migrating to other areas of Talazic as Lillastam became more and more militaristic. Over time, the strength of the kingdom buckled.
Lillastam was annexed by Thessélias in EC 4337.
