Olympus

Olympus, also known as Arborea, is the outer plane of the chaotic good alignment, a place of intense and wild emotion, both positive and negative. It is populated mainly by celestials, good-aligned monstrosities, giants, and select fey and nature spirits. It is a realm of individuality and independence, and, despite the strength of wild passion it evokes, Olympians subscribe to a great many traditions and codes of conduct, some mere superstition, some binding planar laws. It has been said that it is physically dangerous to go back on your word in Olympus, and in fact the plane itself discourages this behavior in the first place.   Olympus's geography is jumbled and difficult to track or predict as one travels through it, though more of it is settled by humanoids than either Mount Celestia or Elysium. Most of these humanoids are the grugach, or wild elves. Every geographical aspect of Olympus is colossal in scale to the point of being perilous and very long to traverse, with towering mountains, deep ravines, wide rivers, and vast plains, without variation. The plane is also given to unpredictable and strange weather phenomena, such as vibrantly colored tornadoes and knifelike hail, which can often be quite dangerous. Generally, though, Olympus is safe, and in fact has a somewhat addictive quality, with outsiders who stay too long finding it difficult to leave.   Floating in the skies of Olympus are the remnants of the ancient realm of Acheron, which was subsumed into Olympus during the Age of the Meydra.
