The town employs a variety of drawbridges built into the streets themselves, which may be raised in the event of an attack to cut off access to much of the town. There are, additionally, watchtowers on both banks.

Architecture

Skeldergate Bridge is known as an architectural feat, with a significant portion of its buildings part of the bridge itself, attached to a variety of outcroppings branching from the main bridge and suspended above the surface of the Lamissio about 160 feet below. The bridge and all attached structures are made of stone and wood in nearly equal parts.

Geography

The river is about 500 feet wide where the town sits, running through a ravine.
