The Interstice

The Interstice is a name broadly given to the concept of evil in Ekaia. Evendur created the multiverse by weaving together the Threads of Creation, and in between them existed the most miniscule of gaps. At some point shortly after the dawn of the world, a very old creature now known as Nihilus dove into one of these gaps. Before he did, an angel called Teveria warned him that he would find only death and ruin outside of the tapestry. But alas, he dove all the same, professing that he would create a kingdom of his own in the Interstice, seizing for himself all that existed apart from Evendur and His tapestry.
These events are understood to have occurred before the Age of the Meydra.
