Vandonsa

Vandonsa is the only town on the island of Maristellis. It is run by a cleric appointed by and from among the ranks of the Clerical Order of Alaya known as the Harbormaster, and its Port of Balance serves as the primary port of the Undulus.
Vandonsans are primarily human, though many races are represented among the ranks of Alayan clerics, a population which constitutes approximately two-thirds of the people living on the island. Vandonsans are skilled free divers, fishermen, shipwrights, and sailors, with most of their industry revolving around these things. They also capitalize on the tourism of pilgrims who visit the island as a holy site. Vandonsans incorporate devotion to Alaya and a variety of aquatic Simrae and other powerful aquatic entities into every aspect of their lives.
