BiG Session 4: No Joke
General Summary
Month 7, Week 1, Year 931
On a hot Midtember day in Gameria's 3rd level, Wesker and Camilla cooled off in the Siren's Call bar together and planned ideas for another two-person score. Lydra was giving them the cold shoulder given their small crew size, so they decided another hit on a rival gang was in order. Before the job they traveled up to the 2nd level to check out some of the shops and guilds to get some better equipment. They came across a place called Hallowlight that specialized in crafting weapons and armor for adventurers from the Gilded Hecat Guild, obtaining some flexible studded leather armor for Camilla in case things got dicey. The shopkeeper had picked up some odd items here and there from interacting with adventurers, and he agreed to sell Wesker a cursed marionette dating back to the days of Old Myltev. With their shopping spree finished, the two rogues descended back into the 3rd level to take on the Clown Kings. The Clown's headquarters was just a couple neighborhoods away from the crew's turf, so wrecking the place would be a good way for the crew to send a message and get some coin along the way. They sneaked in through the rooftop, trying to stay stealthy but eventually having to deal with a bunch of jokers and clowns on the ground floor. Hammers and daggers proved to be brutally efficient against the chaotic attacks of the Clown Kings, giving Camilla enough time to find the gang's stash box and make a quick getaway. The Clown Kings tried to intercept their escape route, but once again flower squirt guns filled with acid proved ineffective against good old-fashioned blades. Despite the desperate circumstances the crew found themselves in during the score, Wesker and Camilla made it back to the bar with plenty of coin to to stash away for a rainy day.
