BiG Session 6: Explosive Spa Day

The city's on edge after an explosion at JD Freelancer's bathhouse the other day, a gaping crater now envelops the neighborhood between the Archives and Thousand Faces. My contacts at the Palace tell me that the Queensguard apprehended an individual for questioning, but apparently he was released after just a couple hours of interrogation. They did not press charges, attributing the explosion to a 'malfunctioning heating system'. What is this city coming to? A band of criminals is seeking to expand into the bathhouse industry, and to that end they've bombed their competition off the map while throwing the city into a wave of fear and hysteria. I'm reminded of my childhood in Gameria during the Fairouz Terror, but at least then we could blame our suffering on dark and occult forces threatening our city. It's common greed that drives this new reign of terror: the other gangs see a weakness in the Handgun's position, and they all seek to take the throne for themselves. The Shroud can't be bothered with such matters, my agents are still investigating the remnants of the Clown Kings for any signs of interplanar activity. I still have some contacts in the Gilded Hecat Guild at least, I'll reach out to Jar-of-Bugs and ask him to post a bounty for some of these criminals. There's always a group of adventurers eager to prove themselves, and bounty hunting is one of the easiest ways to build a reputation.
