Chronicles of the Continent: The Drowning World
An epic historical narrative recounting the Royal Knights Brigade's journey into the former Elflands Empire to defeat the Sunken God. Tarpin claimed to have interviewed dozens of firsthand sources to obtain a clear picture of the adventure, but most notably the scholar failed to obtain any interviews with members of the legendary Fireheart or Quinn families. The book sold well and clearly explained the politics of mid-890's Elflands, but many complained that the book left too many unanswered questions about the fate of the group's key adventurers.

Public Reaction
Critics in Gameria gave the book tepid reviews, saying that the narrative felt incomplete in regards to some of its most important players. For instance, no explanation is given as to how Amara Fireheart became involved with the Sunken God cult, and Cereus Diviciacus Quinn-Malum appears to disappear from the narrative altogether after helping defeat Cpt. Tarkov in Myltev. Many readers expected a gripping tale similar to that of Chronicles of the Continent: the Fairouz Terror, but Tarpin's work came up short.
